Coal tit embroidery

Coal tit embroidered in fine detail using single embroidery threads in many layers so that the character and form of the bird is made visible. It is stitched on merino wool that I dyed with dyers chamomile and it was then wet felted as the background. It is mounted in a 9" by 9" blue rustic frame with glass.
